Paul and Helen Cloutier Rice Scholarship

This scholarship was proposed and seeded in 2021 by Paul and Helen Rice where they resided and attended Groveton High School.  Upon reviewing their charitable donations, they decided to do more for their hometown; especially, in education.  Both felt they received excellent educations in our Groveton schools which provided them with the knowledge, skills, and initiative to pursue higher education opportunities that enhanced their chances for future success.  Both Paul and Helen were GHS graduates of the Class of 1960. Due to the financial assistance, they received from local scholarships which certainly helped them, they decided to increase their support by providing Groveton students with more financial assistance.  They hope this scholarship will help students who are pursuing higher education opportunities.
