Roy Cascadden Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was given in memory of Roy Cascadden, who was principal at Groveton High School for 14 years. It was the Groveton High School Alumni Association’s first scholarship. The class of 1966, in an effort to help activate and promote the newly founded association in that year, started the scholarship fund in honor of Roy Cascadden - coach, teacher, principal, and community leader in Groveton for many years. It is given to deserving students planning to attend post-secondary school.
